NAME

mustbeup − check if system must be up

SYNOPSIS

mustbeup [ -f FILE ]

DESCRIPTION

mustbeup(8) is a simple tool to check an uptab(5) file to see if the system should currently not be shutdown (i.e. the current time is in one of the spans defined in the uptab(5) file).

RETURN VALUE

Returns 0 if the system currently does not need to be up.

Returns 1 and prints a message to stderr if the system needs to be up.

OPTIONS

-f|--config-file= FILE

Specify an uptab(5) file.
