tryhalt − attempt to halt the system

SYNOPSIS

tryhalt

DESCRIPTION

tryhalt(8) is a simple shell script that calls mustbeup(8) to try and halt the system if the current time is not in one of the intervals specified in the uptab(5) configuration file.

Remember to call uptabrtc(8) in your shutdown scripts!
